اوقفوا خطابات الكراهية ضد الأقلية الأيزيدية Stop Hate Speech Against Yazidi Minority
A message to the Iraqi governments, religious and community institutions, international human rights organizations, the United Nations, and all those concerned with human rights. The Yazidi people in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region go through very difficult circumstances from time to time due to the escalation of hate speech and serious threats against them because of their religious beliefs and the practice of their religious rituals. This indicates the weakness of the Iraqi governments in controlling those who incite hate speech against the Yazidi minority. The process is repeated from time to time, the last of which was last August. Due to the serious security threats, thousands of Yazidi families who were living in camps in the Kurdistan Region left and fled almost en masse for fear of being subjected to another genocide at the hands of extremist Islamic gangs, like the previous one when they committed genocide against them on August 3, 2014, also because of their religious beliefs. This Yazidi people demands that local and international governments and human rights institutions intervene to solve these problems that the Yazidi community suffers from in every part of Iraq.
Why is this important?
The importance of this issue is so great that if we get a large number of signatures, countries, governments, the United Nations and peacekeeping forces will intervene to protect the Yazidis from this difficult situation.
